60-minute trial lesson
(face-to-face or online)

My trial lessons are structured in the same way as normal lessons. We shall work on your chosen piece or, in case you are a complete beginner, we shall study the beginner score "The Chopsticks". We shall also have an informal and friendly chat to discuss your requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know me better, ask any questions, and learn something new!

1-hour Crash Course
(face-to-face or online)

If you are new to learning piano and looking to get the best possible start before moving on to self-teaching, my crash course is for you. All self-teaching learners who took my Crash Course agree that one hour of step-by-step work with me has helped them avoid months of frustrating, blindfolded wondering about the internet searching for information.

I will explain to you how to navigate around the piano keyboard and how to read music for both hands, all in one hour. I guarantee that you will leave my studio confident in your musical abilities and complete understanding of the piano keyboard and reading double (Grand) stave, ready to continue studying independently.

What booking option is best for you?

Sets of lessons are cheaper than individual lessons. Sets are great if you prefer to have a fixed time and day for your lessons. However, lessons booked in sets cannot be postponed, cancelled or rescheduled (except for emergencies and absences authorised before booking). So you have to be reasonably sure that you can commit to attending weekly classes for the duration of the set.

Individual lessons are great for those with hectic schedules. You will book lessons as you go. You have complete freedom over the frequency and timing of your lessons. However, I cannot guarantee my availability on your preferred day and time. Individual lessons are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. However, I always try to accommodate everyone's wishes to the best of my ability. Once booked, individual lessons cannot be postponed, cancelled or rescheduled (except for emergencies.)

Weekend lessons are available to those who work Monday-Friday. Classes on weekends are subject to higher (weekend) rates. Block discounts are not available.

1-Hour Crash Course is great if you plan to learn piano without a teacher. The course will equip you with the essential tools to succeed, cutting down months of frustrations and setbacks in searching the internet for often confusing explanations on technique, note reading and video demonstrations. Some students also reported that learning with the YouTube videos and platforms like Udemy, Simply Piano, Yousician, and Flowkey was notably easier and made more sense after being introduced to the basics in a 1-2-1 environment. The course is suitable for adults of any age and children as young as 9.

Interactive Piano Theory Course for Beginners

Be introduced to the piano keyboard and learn how to read music. My self-paced course is perfect for self-teaching adult piano beginners with little to no experience in reading piano music. You can also use this course in combination with the regular tutor-led piano lessons.
